For my small UX design studio, DLHASTINGS, being hired to redesign the mobile and tablet sites for Toys R’ Us and Babies R’ Us was a great honor. The client and the developer were trusting us with a huge responsibility that had absolutely no room for mistakes.
Black Friday was just around the corner.
Working closely with the client, the developer and the traditional web team, we designed, delivered and worked a massive final QA effort on all screens from landing to final checkout. Every state of the UX was designed and produced for multiple types of devices in both portrait and landscape modes, and for both brands. Making the project even more demanding was the fact that we were optimizing for iOS7, a platform that had not yet been released.
In the end we made the deadline with over 1,000 screens designed, build and delivered (scroll down).
